WisRWA and This, that and the other thingMay 12, 2008
I hope everyone had a terrific Mother's Day. I know I did. My son, Keith, called from St. Louis and I talked to my 7 year old grandson who announced that he was accepted into the gifted program at his school, but he was proudest of the fact that he can now swallow pills whole (he has asthma and allergies), a truly great accomplishment. Then son, Andrew, took me to see "Iron Man" (great movie) and we had a Wii rematch. I still didn't win, but I'm getting closer (except for those darn cows!)  This week I'll be doing a live internet radio talk show for Book World News that airs on Blog Talk Radio. It will be on Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. Central time for about 15 minutes, so grab your popcorn.  This weekend I'll be in Green Bay for the WisRWA (Wisconsin Romance Writers of America) Conference. The theme is Love is in the Cards (held at the Oneida Casino and my mom and sister offered to drive with me...hmm). I'll be blogging and doing Drive by Videos all weekend, so be sure to join me on my latest adventure.
