Epic! Adds Titles From National Geographic, Andrews McMeel

Epic!, an e-book subscription service for kids 12 and under, is adding titles from National Geographic Kids and Andrews McMeel. The company also announced two appointments to its board of advisors.

National Geographic Kids will offer titles from its leveled National Geographic Kids Reader series and its Kids Chapters series; Andrews McMell will supply titles from its AMP! Comics for Kids line of graphic novels for middle grade readers. Epic! is available as an app for iPad.

The service also announced that Lane Merrifeld, cofounder of Club Penguin and former executive v-p of Disney Online Studios, and Tim Ditlow, kids' audiobooks producer, have been appointed to its board of advisors.
