Courtney M. Waring has been named director of education at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art. Most recently she was director of education at the Delaware Art Museum, and was previously an educator at the Barnes Foundation and at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. She succeeds Rosemary Agoglia, who retired last month.

Caroline Donofrio has been promoted to editor at Razorbill; she joined the imprint in 2011 as associate editor.

Danielle Rollins has been promoted to marketing coordinator at Random House Children's Books; she was previously marketing assistant. Laura Pennock will join Candlewick Press on August 5 as director of mass market sales. She is currently director, retail marketing and product management, at Readerlink.

The marketing group at Random House Children's Books has some new hires and promotions. Kimberly Lauber has been named director of marketing; she was previously director of marketing and publicity for the children's group at Chronicle Books. Laura Antonacci has been named senior manager, library marketing; she was previously marketing manager, education and library marketing for Penguin Young Readers. Kerri Benvenuto has been promoted to executive director of marketing, licensing, and proprietary brands; she was formerly director of marketing, licensing, and proprietary brands. Rachel Feld has been promoted to the newly created position of executive director, consumer development; she was formerly director, trade marketing. Lynn Kestin has been promoted to the newly created position of director, content development; she was senior producer. Santhana Souksamrane has been promoted to producer; she was associate producer. Beth Conte has been promoted to executive director, marketing production and operations; she was director, marketing production. Nora MacDonald has been promoted to associate marketing manager; she was marketing coordinator. Lauren Adams has been promoted to marketing coordinator; she was marketing assistant. Linda Camacho has been promoted to marketing associate; she was marketing assistant.

Taylor Norman has been promoted to assistant editor in the children's group at Chronicle Books; she was previously editorial assistant.

Molly O'Neill, an editor at HarperCollins's Katherine Tegen imprint, is joining visual storytelling platform Storybird as head of editorial. She has been with HarperCollins for seven years, and edits Veronica Roth, S.J. Kincaid, and Sarah Jane Wright, among other authors.

Penguin Young Readers Group has one promotion and two new hires. Natalie Vielkind has been named assistant managing editor for Dial Books for Young Readers, Dutton Children’s Books, Kathy Dawson Books and Celebra Children’s Books; she was formerly managing editorial assistant. Tara Fowler joins the company as associate publicist; she was previously a freelance reporter for Entertainment Weekly. And Marissa Grossman has joined Razorbill as editorial assistant; she had interned at Razorbill during college, and joined Penguin in 2012 in adult advertising and promotion for Berkley.

Seale Ballenger has been named publicity director at Disney Publishing Worldwide, as of July 8. Most recently he was director of marketing and publicity at Zola Books, and before that worked at HarperCollins and Simon & Schuster.

Nicole Russo has been named director, children's marketing and publicity for Abrams Books for Young Readers, Amulet Books, and Abrams Appleseed. She was most recently deputy director of publicity at Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing.

Amy Allen has been promoted to assistant editor at Henry Holt, from editorial assistant. She has been with the company for two years, and is on the board of the Children’s Book Council's Early Career Committee.
