Emily Easton is joining Crown Books for Young Readers as executive editor, reporting to Phoebe Yeh, on May 19. Most recently she was publishing director of the Walker and Company imprint of Bloomsbury USA Children's Group, where she worked with, among other authors, Simone Elkeles, Kevin O'Malley, Karen Gravelle, Matthew McElligott, Salina Yoon, Judy Finchler, and David McLimans. At Crown, she will work on picture book and middle grade nonfiction, as well as picture books and teen fiction.
