Joining Woodson are Dave Eggers, author of What Can a Citizen Do? The event’s host has yet to be announced.

Brien McDonald, event director of BookExpo, said in a statement, “As one of the most anticipated events each year, the Children’s Book & Author Breakfast attracts a large audience looking to discover breakout talent in the world of children’s and young adult literature and we know that this year’s speakers will not disappoint. With works ranging in topics from immigration to growing up, each of these authors is exploring what it means to belong in a unique and pivotal way that is sure to lead to an unforgettable conversation.”
