The Bologna Children’s Book Fair, in association with the Association of Italian Publishers, has announced the nominees for the seventh annual Bologna Prize for the Best Children’s Publishers of the Year. The award is given in recognition of publishing houses around the world that promote cultural and intellectual exchange through literature.

The prize is offered in six geographic categories; there is a shortlist of five publishers in each category.
