This year’s National Book Festival took place on Saturday, August 12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., and drew tens of thousands of visitors, including hordes of children’s and YA book fans. Here we present a selection of photos of authors and illustrators who gave presentations, read from their books, autographed, and mingled with fans.
