After the January 10 release of the film adaptation of the book, Marcus Luttrell and Patrick Robinson's Lone Survivor, originally published in 2007, pushed up one spot to hit the top of the Apple iBooks bestseller chart for the week ended January 13. The book beat out the previous best seller, Divergent, by Veronica Roth, leaving all of the titles in Roth's trilogy in the next three spots (landing in series order).
Released January 1, The Doctor's Diet, by Travis Stork debuted on the list at #6. After significant media attention, former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates' memoir, Duty, hit the #8 spot after a January 14 publication date.
