Bibliomotion, an indie startup that focuses on business and parenting titles, has teamed with Exploros, an educational technology developer, to launch 30gurus.com, a learning platform that allows authors to turn their books into educational courses. The site is launching with 13 “gurus” and plans to offer more than 100 courses by the end of the year.

Jill Friedlander, co-founder and president of Bibliomotion said “the courses are seen as part of an overall content portfolio that we help authors develop. It gives participants access to our author experts in a collaborative and intimate setting.”

The site is launching with 13 Bibliomotion authors—among them business authors Dick Cross and Rose Fass and parenting author Michelle Icard—but plans to add non-Bibliomotion authors.
