James maintains her grip once more with Darker, which retools the narrative of Fifty Shades Darker by recounting its events from the perspective of Christian Grey. Following James on the list is the regular who's who of thriller-writing men: Baldacci, Brown, Grisham, and Child all hit in the top five, while Patterson's latest lands at #8.
