CORRECTION: A previous version of this article based on an announcement from the Bookseller Oral History Project stated that the project's archive had found a permanent home at the University of Iowa Libraries. University officials have since clarified that while there have been preliminary discussions with BOHP, no deal has been finalized at this time, and the announcement has been retracted from the project's website.

The Bookseller Oral History Project, the culmination of a four-year project undertaken by Jennings to document the history of bookselling in the U.S., officially launched at Winter Institute 2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, attendees were encouraged to record their personal stories relating to bookselling as part of a project to document and preserve these memories for posterity. Jennings intends to continue recording bookseller memories at the regional trade shows, American Booksellers Association–sponsored conferences, and, she told PW before WI2024, “wherever booksellers are gathering.” To date, 32 booksellers have recorded their stories for inclusion in BOHP.
