6/22 Pride Month Signing with Abby Denson, Jennifer Camper & More in New York

In recognition of LGBT Pride month, Jim Hanley's Universe in New York will be hosting a free comics signing with LGBT creators as Abby Denson, Jennifer Camper, Ivan Velez and Timothy Piotrowski on Wednesday, June 22 beginning at 8 p.m. Jim Hanley's Universe is located at 4 West 33rd Street, New York, NY.

6/24 Boilerplate Art Opening in Portland

Paul Guinan and Anna Bennet, creators of the award-winning steampunk graphic novel Boilerplate, will appear at the opening of their new art exhibit in Portland at Things from Another World.. The show will include a wide variety of toys, “artifacts” and models created by Guinan and Bennet and based on the world of Boilerplate. Copies of Boilerplate will be available for sale and signing at the event, and there will be a special preview of art from their next book. The event place from 7 – 10 p.m. on Friday, June 24, at Things From Another World's location at 4133 Northeast Sandy Boulevard, Portland, OR. Free refreshments and alcoholic beverages will be provided, and the event is open free to the public.

6/24 Black Eye #1 Signing with Ivan Brunetti, Lille Carre & More in Chicago

Acclaimed comics creators Ivan Brunetti, Lilli Carre, Paul Hornschemeier, Onsmith and Paul Nudd will celebrate the release of their new anthology of dark humor in comics, essays and art, Black Eye #1 at Quimby's Bookstore in Chicago. The event will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 24 at the downtown location of Midtown Comics located at 1854 W. North Avenue Chicago, IL. Admission is free to the general public.

6/24 Brian Wood Talks Northlanders in New York

Eisner nominated comics writer Brian Wood will discuss his popular Viking historical fiction comic Northlanders at Midtown Comics in New York City in coordination with Midtown Comics' monthly book club. The event will take place at 7 on Friday, June 24 at the downtown location of Midtown Comics at 64Fulton Street, New York, NY.. Admission is free to the general public.

6/25 Level Up Launch Party & Workshop in San Francisco

Comics creators Gene Yang and Thien Pham will premiere their new graphic novel Level Up with a free comics workshop and launch party at the Cartoon Art Museum. Pham and Yang will sign and discuss their new book, as well as drawing comics with museum-goers The event takes place from 1 – 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, at the Cartoon Art Museum located at 655 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA. Entrance is free with paid admission to the museum.
