3/15-3/17 MegaCon 2013 in Orlando, FL
On March 15 through 17, the MegaCon 2013 comic convention will take place in Orlando, Florida and feature such comic creator guests as Frank Cho, Neal Adams, Amanda Conner, Darwyn Cooke and Gail Simone among many others as well as media guests such as Patrick Stewart and Wil Wheaton. MegaCon 2013 will be held at the Orange County Convention Center, Hall D at 9800 International Drive, Orlando, FL. Hours are 1-7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.- 6p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $30 for one day and $60 for all three admission days.
3/16 New Narrative Art Exhibit with Lilli Carre and Craig Thompson in San Francisco, CA
The Cartoon Art Museum will unveil "I See What You Say", a new exhibit exploring narrative art in a wide variety of forms, from comics to picture books to editorial art. Showcasing work from artists including Craig Thompson, Jon Klassen and Lilli Carre, the exhibit runs from March 16 – July 7 at the Cartoon Art Museum, located at 655 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA.
3/29 Becky Cloonan "Demo Vol. 2" Discussion and Signing in New York, NY
Eisner-nominated comics creator Becky Cloonan will appear at Midtown Comics Downtown in New York at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29 to discuss and sign her book Demo Vol. 1. The event is free to the public and refreshments will be provided. The downtown location of Midtown Comics is located at 64 Fulton Street, New York, NY.
