Commercial printer Cenveo, one of the largest graphic communication companies in North America with sales for fiscal 2009 of $1.7 billion, announced that through its subsidiaries it has entered an agreement to acquire Glyph International from Infomedia 18 Limited. Glyph, which has 550 employees worldwide, provides content solutions to publishers through its operations in Fort Lauderdale, Bangalore, New Delhi, and London.

“The acquisition significantly strengthens our market presence and end-to-end production capabilities in the journal and book publishing markets,” said chairman and CEO Robert G. Burton, Sr. “Glyph International is a perfect complement to our existing platform and allows us to expand our product offerings.” Glyph International specializes in full-suite content production, from project management through editorial composition, artwork, and XML creation.


The acquisition is expected to be completed during the second quarter.
