Legendary American writer Ray Bradbury passed away June 5 at the age of 91. Slowed by a stroke, Bradbury remained active into his 90s, and continued his writing and appeared at fundraisers. The author of 30 books including Fahrenheit 451 and The Martian Chronicles, Bradbury was also a fierce advocate for libraries. Bradbury is survived by his four daughters. Marguerite Bradbury, his wife of 56 years, died in 2003.
