Stephanie Kip Rostan has been named partner at the Levine Greenberg Agency. Effective today, the shingle becomes the Levine Greenberg Rostan Literary Agency.

Rostan has been with the company for 13 years and, in that time, has represented Gillian Flynn, Lisa Lutz, Julia Dahl and nonfiction brands such as La Leche League and the American Humane Association.

“We know why Stephanie’s clients love her,” said Jim Levine. “She’s smart as can be, with a sense of strategy that is only equaled by her sense of humor.” Daniel Greenberg adds, “She’s both a leader and a team player, and we’re delighted to have her as our partner.”

Rostan graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English and creative writing. Before joining Levine Greenberg in 2001, she worked as an editor at Bantam Books and as a book producer at iVillage.com.

“It’s been a thrill to work with such an amazing set of colleagues at Levine Greenberg, from whom I have learned so much,” said Rostan. “I am so very lucky to have gotten my start in agenting here and to be in a position to continue to grow the business and serve our tremendous list of clients…This is an exciting step, and I look forward to doing more of what I love.”

The agency's new website will be lgrliterary.com, but queries to agents at the old site, levinegreenberg.com, will forward.
