Fifty Shades of Grey remained the top fiction seller in the country last week, according to Nielsen BookScan, but the two sequels in the trilogy got off to a hot start of their own. At the outlets tracked by BookScan, Fifty Shades Darker sold over 166,000 copies in its first week on sale, while Fifty Shades Free sold just under 145,000 copies. Grey, meanwhile, sold over 240,000 copies last week and has sold close to 500,000 print copies in the outlets tracked by BookScan, which covers about 75% of print sales.
