Gibbs Smith Publisher has joined the growing ranks of publishers who are expanding their product lines beyond books, launching a new branded Web site,, as well as a line of gift products.

The publisher launched the BabyLit line of board books last spring and in the fall will add two new titles, Dracula and A Christmas Carol. All titles in the series will now be accompanied by gift products that include totes, buttons, and plush dolls, all based on characters and artwork found in the series. Said associate publisher Suzanne Taylor about the venture into gift products: “It’s about offering more unique products to our customers." The gifts will be sold on the site as well as through most Gibbs Smith outlets.
