Bloomsbury has bought over 200 natural history titles originally released by New Holland Publishers. The books, Bloomsbury said, will be integrated into the house's existing list in the category.

Bloomsbury, which publishes widely in the natural history category, said the acqusition of titles from New Holland will "further cement" its position as a major publisher in this area. Nigel Redman, who heads up natural history at Bloomsbury, said: "[New Holland's] titles complement the Bloomsbury natural history imprints perfectly."
