Beginning January 1, HarperCollins will be using Ingram Publisher Services/Spring Arbor as its exclusive distributor to the Christian market. IPS will take over distribution into the Christian market for an array of titles, ranging from works by Desmond Tutu, N.T. Wright and Peter Gomes to Bibles plus popular titles such as Goodnight Moon and Laura Wilder’s Little House series.

“As we position our company for continued and future success, we are eager to grow our sales with Christian bookstores,” said Josh Marwell, president of sales at HarperCollins. “Working with Ingram Publisher Services and Spring Arbor, we will expand coverage for our titles to this important segment.” Marwell stressed that titles from its Zondervan subsidiary are not part of the Ingram deal and noted that the new arrangement is similar to one Zondervan has with Ingram to distribute Zondervan's titles in the ABA market.
