Church Publishing Inc. (CPI), the publishing arm of the Church Pension Group (CPG), which serves the Episcopal Church, has hired Airié Stuart as senior v-p and publisher of the company.

Prior to joining CPI, Stuart served as an independent content strategist at The Stuart Agency. Before working at the literary agency, Stuart served as senior v-p and publisher at Palgrave Macmillan/Macmillan, where she managed editorial, marketing, sales (trade, academic, and online), distribution, subsidiary rights, and publicity departments. Stuart’s experience also includes editorial positions with John Wiley & Sons, Simon & Schuster, Warner Books, and HarperCollins.

Stuart will report to CPG’s executive v-p and CEO, Frank Armstrong. CPI publishes worship materials, books, music, and digital ministry resources for the Episcopal Church as well as broader ecumenical and general marketplace books.
