Bill Reeves, who has over 35 years of experience in the Christian entertainment industry, has been appointed CEO of the Christian publishing house David C Cook and its music company, Integrity Music. Reeves replaces John Aden, who was named CEO in 2021 but resigned earlier this year.

Reeves was previously an agent for musical artists, actors, and authors. He has also served as executive producer for over two dozen films and home entertainment titles. As CEO, Reeves will be tasked with innovating “products, platforms, and strategies to meet spiritual needs and deliver creative content in a way that draws hearts closer to God,” according to a press release.

In a statement, Reeves said that he is “excited to join a team dedicated to connecting people with their faith through music, books and media.” He added: “If we can inspire people who work in the arts to steer their creativity toward the Lord, it will be culture-changing.”

Todd Rankin, chairman of the board for David C Cook, said that Reeves’s experience equips him to lead the company into the future. He added, “Bill Reeves’s heart for our mission—combined with his vast industry knowledge—stood out among the many applicants.”

David C Cook focuses on publishing books and media that “help Christians grow in faith and pass it along to the next generation,” according to its website. Last year, the press launched a new imprint dedicated to publishing women’s voices and expanded its focus on comic books.
