Influencer Quartet Signs with W

Christian content creators Kirby Kelly, Joe Navarro, Jacob Petersen, and Julie Petersen have signed a worlds rights deal with W Publishing for the tentatively titled Influence for Jesus, releasing in 2027. They offer a practical guide for today’s generation of believers who want to use their voice, platform, and presence to make an impact for God, said the publisher, using biblical teaching, real-life stories and interactive reflection. Trinity McFadden of the Bindery Agency negotiated the deal with W’s acquiring editor Brooke Hill.

Paraclete Signs a Picture Book of Sunsets

Director of Paraclete Press Lillian Miao acquired world rights to Sunsets are God’s Love by Patrick O'Hearn and illustrated by Mariona Cabassa. Written for children ages 4-8, this picture book helps them discover God’s love through the beauty of sunsets in locations around the globe, per the publisher. The author represented himself, and Brosterman represented the illustrator. Publication is slated for April 2027.

WaterBrook to Publish Practicing the Way Title

Campbell Wharton, SVP for Penguin Random House Christian Publishing Group, and Drew Dixon, executive editor for PRHCG imprint WaterBrook, took world rights to Practicing the Way of Jesus Together by Brandon Shields, director of church formation at Practicing the Way, a church resource ministry founded by John Mark Comer. The book offers a framework for implementing spiritual formation in today’s churches, according to the publisher. Mike Salisbury and Matt Yates at Yates & Yates negotiated the deal for the April 2027 release.

Whitaker House Takes On Spiritual Warfare

Chip MacGregor, executive editor at Whitaker House, has acquired Standing Strong for Spiritual Warfare by Bishop Vashti McKenzie, president of the National Council of Churches. The book reframes spiritual warfare as a personal and community necessity and presents offensive and defensive biblical disciplines for victory, the publisher said. Publication is slated for winter 2028. Adrienne Ingrum at Serendipity Literary Agency negotiated the deal for world rights.
