President Bill Clinton and author James Patterson will launch their book tour for their upcoming book, The President is Missing, at BookCon 2018. Clinton and Patterson will be on site for a book signing, as well as a panel on the main stage on Sunday, June 3.

BookCon will be the co-authors' first appearance together as they kick off their national book tour. Both events are open exclusively to BookCon ticketholders, and the book signing will require a separately purchased ticket.

The President is Missing marks the first time a U.S. president has collaborated with a novelist on a work of fiction. The book will be co-published by Alfred A. Knopf and Little, Brown, marking a collaboration between two major publishing houses, Penguin Random House and Hachette Book Group. The book will be released in stores on June 4.

"President Clinton and James Patterson have written one of the most buzzed about books of the year and we are thrilled to welcome them to BookCon for a once in a lifetime experience for their fans,” Brien McDonald, BookCon event director, said in a statement.
