In Spain, Penguin Random House Grupo Editorial (PRHGE) has acquired Molino and Serres, the Spanish-language children’s and YA imprints of RBA group, as well as La Magrana, the company's Catalan-language imprint.

Molino and Serres are publishers of several bestselling international series, among other titles, including Suzanne Collins’ Hunger Games series, Veronica Roth’s Divergent series, and Jeff Kinney’s Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. With the acquisition, PRHGE will extend the reach of the Molino and Serres catalog of titles to Latin America, and will begin producing audiobook and e-book editions of books from La Magrana's list.

The RBA Group will continue publishing its other imprints, which are focused on historical fiction and nonfiction, including Gredos, Serie Negra, and Integra, among others.

"With the acquisition of the Molino, Serres, and La Magrana imprints, we are thrilled to advance and broaden our commitment to reach as wide a readership as possible, both in Spanish and Catalan, by making our publishing catalogs even richer and representing a wider range of voices and points of view," Núria Cabutí, CEO of PRHGE, said in a statement.
