A gleaming new hall for the Moscow Book Fair

The Moscow Book Fair ran this year from Sept. 1 to Sept. 6 and PW president George Slowik, Jr. was one of a handful of Americans to make the trip. Attracting more Western publishers to the fair is just one part of an emerging strategy by Russia to bring more attention to its writers.
