With the Labor Day weekend upon us, PW Preview for Librarians is taking some time off. We will skip the September 10 issue, and will return with our usual Friday dispatch on September 17.
As I prepare for some time off, I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all our readers, sponsors, and supporters a happy, healthy, and safe Labor Day Weekend. And I hope we might all take this long weekend as an opportunity to reflect on the incredible efforts library workers across the country have made in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. And if you're not yet vaccinated, please see if you can find the time over this long weekend to get the shot, and help put an end to the Covid-19 crisis once and for all.
There's no better way to honor the service of our frontline workers than by doing our part to keep everyone safe.
