Description | The Director of Content Acquisitions directs the acquisition of print and digital content for ASCD’s Content Acquisition & Development unit. The position has direct responsibility for ensuring that ASCD’s long and short form books, and digital and related products match member and customer needs and are profitable. Under the general supervision of the Publisher, the Director has broad decision-making authority regarding topics and potential authors to pursue, and the exploitation of content into a variety of formats. If you have at least 8+ years of experience in publishing with at least three years of experience in a high-level acquisitions or product development or product management position, and 3-5 years of supervisory, budget and management experience, we invite you to apply. Demonstrated knowledge in the K-12 education market is highly desirable. The salary range for this position is low to mid $90s.
