Charlie Brotherstone to Launch Agency

Charlie Brotherstone, the literary agent at Ed Victor Ltd,will open his own agency, Brotherstone Creative Management. BCM will be a full-service literary agency with a range of clients including Brett Anderson, Charles Glass, Kirstin Innes, Thomas Pavitte, Nuno Mendes, George The Poet, and the A.A. Gill estate. Charlie worked closely with Ed Victor, from 2014 until Ed’s death in June 2017, and as well as managing his own client list, he ran the film/TV, serial and speakers departments at Ed Victor Ltd.

Brotherstone Creative Management will be transatlantic, selling rights directly in the U.S., where many clients are based. The agency will also work closely with United Agents on translation, television and dramatic rights opportunities. Recent deals include debuts from Horizon presenter Giles Yeo and cookery writer Skye McAlpine. BCM will be trading from the Ed Victor Ltd offices at 6 Bayley Street until the end of 2017, before finding new headquarters for the business in 2018.
