Knopf to Publish New Emily St. John Mandel Novel Next Year

Alfred A. Knopf will publish Station Eleven and The Glass Hotel author Emily St. John Mandel's next novel, Sea of Tranquility, on April 19, 2022. Jenny Jackson v-p and executive editor at Knopf, acquired the book from Katherine Fausset at Curtis Brown. The book will be published simultaneously in hardcover and e-book by Knopf and audio by Penguin Random House Audio. The novel is, Knopf said, "a story of time travel that probes many aspects of reality," calling it "a remarkable feat of storytelling that delves into themes that will be familiar to Mandel’s many readers—time, art, love, wilderness, what makes the world real."
