Concepción de León Joins Pantheon

Concepción de León will join Pantheon as senior editor, effective January 10. She will report to Pantheon senior v-p and publisher Lisa Lucas. De León will acquire a wide range of nonfiction, with a focus on reporting, cultural criticism, and emerging Latinx writers. 

For the past five years, de León has reported across various sections of the New York Times, including three years spent working for the paper's Books desk. Prior to the New York Times, she was an editor at Glamour magazine. In 2014, she attended the Columbia Publishing Course, and subsequently interned at New York magazine and Penguin Random House.
