Edgar Rice Burroughs Exhibit Comes to Society of Illustrators

The exhibition The Art and Story of Edgar Rice Burroughs: Selections from the Vinson Family Collection, celebrating the literary contributions of Edgar Rice Burroughs and their lasting impact on popular culture, will be held at the Society of Illustrators in New York May 15–July 27. The original artwork to be displayed in the upcoming exhibition at the Society of Illustrators features work by such artists as J. Allen St. John, Hal Foster, Frank Frazetta, Frank Schoonover, and Michael Whelan, among others. Selections on display will also include vintage film posters, comic art, books, pulps, and memorabilia.
