Ashmead Award Applications Open

Applications are now being accepted for the New York Community Trust's 2016 Ashmead Award, to name the sixth recipient of the annual prize named in honor of book editor Lawrence Peel “Larry” Ashmead. The application is a nomination by a young editor’s superior. The recipient will attend the Yale Publishing Course entitled Book Publishing: Leadership Strategies in Book Publishing, from July 31 to August 5, in New Haven, Conn., and will also have access to a distinguished advisory committee consisting of preeminent editors in the publishing community. This year’s deadline for nominations is June 8, 2016 at noon.
