HarperCollins has launched HarperCollins Presents, a global podcast network that incorporates the publisher’s existing podcast programs, BookD and HarperAudio Presents.

With the launch, programming on HarperAudio Presents (which features podcasts that originate from the U.S.) and the BookD program (podcasts from the U.K.) will air under the single network of HarperCollins Presents.

The new podcast network will continue to feature HarperCollins authors, editors and creators in discussions about books, culture and the arts. Existing HarperCollins podcast programs will now fall under the HarperCollins Presents podcast network.

Forthcoming interview episodes will feature such authors as Patricia Cornwell, Garth Nix, and David Cronenberg. The HarperCollins Presents podcast network can be found on iTunes, SoundCloud and Stitcher.

Nick Perrett, group director of strategy and digital for HarperCollins U.K. said the house has 1.4 million SoundCloud subscribers across the U.S. and U.K. divisions. “HarperCollins is a global company with global authors benefiting from a global direct-to-consumer approach," he said.
