Simon & Schuster imprint Touchstone has created Glommable, a site that will curate content from Internet personalities, and authors from across publishing houses.

The site rolls out with an interview with Allie Brosh, author of the bestseller Hyperbole and a Half, and Felicia Day, author of You’re Never Weird on the Internet [Almost]. Recurring features include highlighting the work of a favorite web creator), an Internet personality’s confession of the pop culture media he or she digests), and “Lit Wiz," a weekly rotation of literary polls, quizzes, and book battles.

“As the walls of traditional book publishing expand and morph, we’re publishing more and more online creators — individuals who have stretched the boundaries of content sharing and who are building bridges between digital publishing and the book industry,” said David Falk, v-p and associate publisher of Touchstone. “To celebrate this growing marriage, Glommable will highlight some of the Internet’s best binge-worthy content from familiar and not-so familiar faces, alongside a healthy serving of guilt-free pop culture popcorn."

Touchstone, in conjunction with Simon & Schuster Digital, will manage the day-to-day operations of the site.
