The five winners across five categories have been announced in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award, a contest that received over 10,000 entries from around the world. From the finalists, the winner will be selected by voters from reading excerpts at The winner will be revealed June 15 and will receive a contract from Amazon Publishing, as well as a $50,000 advance. The remaining winners will each be awarded a publishing contract with a $15,000 advance.

Young Adult Fiction: Timebound by Rysa Walker, Cary, NC
