Gallery Books announced that it will be publishing a new trilogy by Kim Harrison, author of the bestselling Hollows series. The first book in the series is scheduled for publication in fall 2015.

The trilogy will be set in a "futuristic" Detroit, according to the publisher, and introduces Peri Reed, a "brilliant, sexy and intrepid special task agent at the top of her field." Gallery called the series a "huge step forward" for the "author of the multimillion copy bestselling Hollows series," published by HarperCollins imprint Harper Voyager.

Lauren McKenna, executive editor at Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, acquired the trilogy, with Richard Curtis of Richard Curtis Associates representing Harrison. Gallery's deal includes North American rights—British and translation rights will be handled by Baror International Agency.
