Fifty-four-year-old Brookline Booksmith in Brookline, Mass., is getting two new co-owners.

Merchandiser Lisa Gozashti, who buys backlist, calendars, and art supplies, and Peter Win, who is in charge of operations and personnel, will assume co-ownership of the bookstore. They replace co-owner Evelyn Vigo, who retired last year. Tim Huggins has taken over her role as controller/treasurer.

Longtime manager Dana Brigham will continue as a co-owner of Brookline Booksmith, along with founder Marshall Smith, who remains majority owner.

In a statement, Brigham, who has been with the bookstore for 34 years, said she and Smith “look forward to continuing on with the youthful energy, creativity, and commitment Lisa and Peter bring to our ever-fuller table of selection, service, and style.”
