With declines in all categories but adult fiction, unit sales of print books were down 8.8% in the week ended Feb. 11, 2023, from the comparable week in 2022, at outlets that report to NPD BookScan. The fiction and nonfiction juvenile categories each had a 15.3% decline compared to the week ended Feb. 12, 2022.
