Winter Institute 2024 brought more than 950 members of the American Booksellers Association together in Cincinnati, Ohio, February 11–14. Participants enjoyed a whirlwind of keynotes, panels, receptions, bookstore tours, and parties that lasted for four days. PW's two intrepid reporters collected a sampling of memorable moments with both familiar and new faces from the ABA’s 19th annual conference of indie booksellers.

Bookseller registration for Children's Institute 2024, to be held in New Orleans June 10–12, will open in March, and is expected to sell out quickly. The next Winter Institute will be held in Denver, February 23–26, 2025.
