Jon Chadurjan's The Bad-ventures of Bobo Backslack is a new graphic novel due from AdHouse in May. Chadurjan gained notice (as Jon Chad) for his innovative Leo Geo books for kids. In Bobo Backslack he uses an anarchic, but clean style to tell the story of the unluckiest person in all of North Dakota. All Bobo Backslack wants is to work hard at his job, get a girlfriend, and make his mom proud, but all the forces, both natural and supernatural, seem to be working against him.
