Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Chrissy Teigen sold her first cookbook to Clarkson Potter. Doris Cooper, v-p and associate publisher, Clarkson Potter, and Francis Lam, editor-at-large picked up North American rights the untitled book.

Teigen, who is married to musician John Legend, heads up a food blog called So Delushious. The book, which doesn't yet have a publication date, will include approximately 100 original recipes with color photos, and anecdotes from Teigen.

“I am honored to be the first person to bake parchment paper into a cake and write a ‎cookbook in the same year," said Teigen. "I’m proud to be this pioneer and hopefully inspire others to embark on their own culinary adventures—successful or otherwise.”

In another deal for a debut book, Ten Speed nabbed world rights for James Beard Award-winning chef Naomi Pomeroy’s, Oui: Lessons From An Award-Winning Self-Taught Chef. The work, per the publisher, will combine "Julia Child’s classical aesthetic and ambition to teach the world how to cook with Pomeroy’s own unique history, style, and verve." Julie Bennett at Ten Speed Press acquired the book. Pomeroy, the chef at Beast in Portland, Oreg., was represented Kim Witherspoon and Monika Woods at InkWell Management.
