Turner Publishing has acquired the Conari Press, Bonhomie Press, and Woo! Jr. imprints from Mango Publishing. The acquisition, completed on June 30, sees the transfer of 589 Mango titles to Turner, including a few from the Mango and Yellow Pear Press imprints. Many of the acquired titles are in the self-help and inspirational categories.

The deal with Mango is the latest in a string of acquisitions by Turner. The company’s most recent acquisition was the October 2022 purchase of West Margin Press from Ingram Content Group. Todd Bottorff, president and publisher at Turner, said that Mango “has curated an excellent collection of beautifully written and award-winning books. We are honored to carry on publishing these titles."

Mango had acquired the three imprints in separate deals over the last few years. Their sale will allow the company to focus on growing its core business of specialized nonfiction titles, which it publishes under a number of imprints, said Mango CEO Chris McKinney.

Distribution for the imprints will not change. Both Turner and Mango are distributed by Ingram Publisher Services, an Ingram Content Group Company.
