Elton John will publish Farewell Yellow Brick Road: Memories of My Life On Tour, with Disney Publishing Worldwide imprint Hyperion Avenue, on September 24.

The book, the publisher said, is “a full-color celebration of his record-breaking, five-year, globe-spanning tour of 330 shows,” starting in Allentown, Pa., in 2018 and ending in Stockholm, Sweden last July, and features “a behind-the-scenes look into every aspect of the incredible tour, including Elton’s dazzling, final performances at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, his record-breaking performance at Glastonbury,” and more. David Furnish, CEO of Rocket Entertainment and manager and creative director of the tour, wrote the book's foreword.

Hyperion Avenue editorial director Jennifer Levesque inked the deal with Furnish and music law firm Gang, Tyre, Ramer, Brown & Passman. Terms of the rights were not disclosed. The book has a 300,000–copy announced first print run.

John published his biography, Me, with Henry Holt in 2019, and the book has sold nearly 400,000 combined hardcover and paperback copies to date through outlets that report to Circana BookScan. In its starred review, PW called Me a “funny, down-to-earth, and openhearted self-portrait.”
