HarperCollins has moved into its new global headquarters at 195 Broadway in Manhattan's Financial District. The company's nearly 700 New York employees now occupy four and a half floors in the building, originally built in 1916 as the headquarters for AT&T. The publisher had been at its previous location, on 53rd Street in Midtown, since 1972.

“We are thrilled to be in our new global headquarters. We’re returning to original neighborhood where J. & J. Harper, Printers first opened its doors nearly 200 years ago,” said Brian Murray, President & CEO, HarperCollins Publishers. “This new work environment is more open and collaborative. We have more people on far fewer floors, allowing for greater collaboration and creativity."
