Quashing speculation that HarperCollins Christian Publishing would consolidate all staff to Nashville, Zondervan has signed a multi-year lease on a new location in Grand Rapids, Mich. In a statement, HCCP president and CEO Mark Schoenwald said, “Our commitment to have a presence in Grand Rapids remains strong, and this new location will bring new opportunities for the future.”
At the new location--in a building on Sparks Dr., less than five miles from its current location on Patterson Dr.—Zondervan will be the only occupant. Construction to retrofit the building begins in the next few months. Zondervan’s current lease expires January 31, 2014.
