Pam Tebow Lands at Tyndale

Sarah Atkinson, associate publisher at Tyndale House Publishers, bought world rights from Whitney Gossett of the Fedd Agency to Ripple Effects: Discover the Miraculous Motivating Power of a Woman’s Influence by debut author Pam Tebow. A speaker and the mother of college football star Tim Tebow, Pam Tebow will share experiences that range from mission work in the Philippines to choices she made as a mother as a way to demonstrate for readers the impact they can have on the world around them. Tyndale Momentum will publish Ripple Effects in May 2019.

Baseball Champion Affeldt Signs with Zondervan

In a world rights deal, Esther Feddorkevich of the Fedd Agency sold a memoir by three-time World Series champion Jeremy Affeldt to Zondervan trade acquisitions editor Andy Rogers. Slated for publication in March 2020, the yet-to-be-titled book will detail Affeldt’s 14 years in major league baseball—including pitching for the San Francisco Giants—as well as his experiences as a husband and father.

‘Liberation’ Arrives at IVP

InterVarsity Press’ editorial director Cindy Bunch took world rights to filmmaker and photographer Nikole Lim’s writing debut: Liberation is Here (working title). Lim is the co-founder of Freely in Hope, a nonprofit international organization that offers support for victims of sexual violence through psychological counseling, health care, educational scholarships, and more. Liberation is Here will delve into her work to build a world of justice, freedom, and hope. The book is slated for publication in winter 2020. Angela Scheff of the Christopher Ferebee Agency represented the author in the deal.

Zondervan Takes Human Trafficking Survivor’s Story

Carolyn McCready, executive editor of Zondervan, took world rights from Blythe Daniel of the Blythe Daniel Agency, Inc. to a book by Rebecca Bender, an advocate for ending human trafficking who endured six years of sexual slavery. With a title TBD, the book details Bender’s story, including what trafficking looks like in the U.S. as well as her involvement with the Rebecca Bender Initiative, which works to eradicate sexual slavery. It will be published in January 2020.
