Anthony Ziccardi, publisher of Post Hill Press, announced the acquisition of B&H Publishing’s Fidelis Books imprint, to be led by Gary Terashita as associate publisher. Prior to his new role, Terashita served as editor-in-chief at Salem Books, the Christian imprint of Regnery Publishing.

Fidelis Books was launched under LifeWay Christian Resource's B&H imprint in 2008 by Terashita and retired Marine Lt. Col. Oliver North during their time at LifeWay, but it was discontinued in 2011. In looking to revive Fidelis, Post Hill will put the imprint's focus on Christian nonfiction and fiction titles that “communicate biblically sound, historically orthodox truth to the church and culture,” according to a spokesperson for the Nashville-based press.

The imprint, which includes four backlist titles, plans to release five new titles this year, and 12-15 titles per year moving forward. Forthcoming books include Life, Marriage, and Religious Liberty by David S. Dockery and John Stonestfeet (June 4), Conservative by Jim DeMint and Rachel Bovard (Sept.), and The Rifleman by the aforementioned North (Dec.).
