Facebook is the top social media platform used by book buyers in Canada. This is according to a new report on social media use by book buyers from BookNet Canada, the Canadian organization that compiles sales and other data about Canadian publishing.

Among readers surveyed for the report, called #AmReading: Canadian Book Buyers on Instagram, 62% cited Facebook as the platform they use most often, representing a small percentage drop from the 65% who said so in 2016. The second most cited platform was YouTube, with 45% of respondents using the platform, followed by Twitter (25%), LinkedIn (25%), Instagram (24%), Pinterest (23%), and Snapchat (13%).

The report is part of an ongoing series looking at how Canadian book buyers are utilizing various social media platforms.
