Author Kalynn Bayron went on her first in-person tour for her bestselling YA fantasy This Wicked Fate last month. Bayron hit four cities from June 18–23 and attended events including book signings, live readings, conversations about the novel, and the opportunity to meet readers. We’ve gathered highlights from her appearances.

On June 21, Bayron made an appearance at Porter Square Books in Cambridge, Mass. Bayron (l.) spoke with bookseller Kendall (r.), about her latest novel to an audience.


On June 22, Bayron appeared at the Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore in Middletown, Conn., and held a conversation with bookseller Katie Kucharski in which they discussed Bayron’s love of Greek mythology, her writing journey, and centering queer relationships in her novels.


Bayron spotted herself featured in an Essence article discussing the state of book banning alongside fellow Black authors.
